ERE has performed and successfully completed all kinds of general construction project for various clients.
Among completed projects, service buildings for PTT, hangars and misc. military facilities for Ministry of Defence, shopping centres for private clients and various buildings completed in Sinop, Balgat (Ankara) and İncirlik (Adana) Air Bases for US Air Force can be listed under this group.
Most of the projects under this group has been completed for US Air Force Corps of Engineers, under the supervision of this agency and in compliance with ARCO specifications.
ERE also operates in industrial facilities construction. Sivas Iron and Steel Mill, Furnace at Sivas Iron and Steel Factory, Milk Plant in Balgat Air Base are in this concept.
Sivas Iron and Steel Mill
During the construction of this 400,000tons/yr capacity mill with Turkey’s most modern technology, 900,000 m3 excavation, 750,000 m3 backfilling, 42,000 m2 formwork, 2,400tons reinforcement steel, 37,000 m3 concrete, 4,000 tons steel assembly and 36,000m2 aluminium covering and 27km water supply lines with 20 bar pressure had been erected.
Furnace at Sivas Iron and Steel Factroy
Furnace construction consisted of 450 tons of precise machinery installation and 500tons of technological steel construction production and installation.
Milk Plant in Balgat Air Base
This full-automatic plant has a 2,000lt/hr dairy products production and packing capacity. Pneumatically controlled system consists of milk, cheese, ice-cream, yogurt production and packing units and HTST pasteurisation system.
ERE also holds valuable references with marine structures. Some of the projects completed in compliance with NATO and Turkish Navy standards are as follows; NATO Golcuk Pier and Marine Structures, Yolluca Pier.
NATO Golcuk Pier and Marine Structures
Under the scope of the project, 248m new pier was constructed and exiting 147m long pier was renovated. Two 75tons dolphins and two JP-5 fuel tanks were constructed and installed.
YOLLUCA Pier
Under the scope of this project which was completed for Turkish Navy, an island without any means of access was transformed to a dwelling area with complete infrastructure including air, land and sea access.
ERZINCAN HOUSING PROJECT
ERE has completed this housing project of 464 units within 15 months in Erzincan, the city which is beeing rebuilt after the severe, destructive earthquake occurred in 1992. All site devolepment works and exterior works including all utilities, roads and landscaping as well as playground areas were completed within the scope of this project. This project was funded by World Bank and based on the contract documents prepared on the basis of FIDIC RULES. Total area of construction was 54 000 sqm.
BURSA HOUSING PROJECT
This project which was awarded by the state Ministry for the Bulgarian refugees of Turkish origin, was grouped in 24 buildings. İn an area of about 22 000 sqm. Site development as well as utilities and services in the land plot, were included in the scope of this project. ERE used tunnel form work for the cast in place concrete structures for 516 flats and 48 basement units. Total area of construction was 33 000 sqm.
